Meet our Executive Educator

Owner
Mrs.Smith began her professional journey in the field of criminal justice after earning her bachelor's degree and serving many years in law enforcement. Wanting a more meaningful path, she returned to school and earned her master's in education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction.
Mrs.Smith launched her teaching career in elementary education, where she discovered her love for teaching kindergarten and early learners. She later transitioned to high school instruction, further expanding her expertise and commitment to student growth.
Today, Mrs.Smith brings her diverse professional background, strong leadership, and a deep passion for education to A Kid's Journey Learning Experience. She is fully dedicated to nurturing young learners, building strong learning foundations, and ensuring that every child receives high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction.
Mrs. Smith has also taught in several programs at KidsRKid Academy, led the toddler and Pre-K program at a private Christian academy, and launched her own tutoring service supporting children ages 3-6 years old. These experiences further strengthened her passion for early childhood education and her commitment to high-quality learning.
