Our application fee is a one-time fee of $100 and must be paid at the time of application submission.

We operate from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. with a complimentary 15-minute grace period for pickup. After 5:45 pm., a $20 late fee will be applied. We ask that you satisfy all late fees within 24 hours.

Yes. We use a customized curriculum created by our director, aligned with the Georgia Department of Education's Kindergarten Standards. Our curriculum incorporates all required Georgia state standards, ensuring that every child receives a high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experience that prepares them for Kindergarten success.

Invoices will go out between the 14th and 16th of the month, and tuition is due on the 28th. of every month to cover the upcoming month. Currently, we are not accepting weekly tuition at this time.

For all weather-related monitoring and school closures, we follow the Gwinnett County Public School District. If Gwinnett County schools are closed, we are closed.

At A Kid's Journey Learning Experience, we encourage regular attendance, and we bill tuition based on enrollment and not attendance.

Yes, all students are required to wear uniforms Monday-Thursday. Regular dress is appropriate for Fridays.

Yes, we follow Bright From the Start's sick policy, which states that if the child has a fever of 101F (38.3 °C) or higher with other signs of illness, the child will not be allowed to be present at school. In order to return, the child must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication, and showing no signs of illness. Also, if your child becomes sick during the day he/she will be moved to a quiet, separated area and monitored until they are picked up. Children who become sick during the day must be picked up within 1 hour of the facility notifying the parent. If we can not reach the parent(s), we will contact other authorized pick up persons on the list.

At this time, all enrolled students must be potty-trained before attending our program.

All enrolled students will receive 1 pair of pants and 1 shirt with tuition. Parents are required to purchase additional uniforms. We do launder uniforms on Thursdays and return back to parents on Friday.

We use Bright Wheel. All families are required to download the Bright Wheel app for communication, daily updates, attendance, tuition payments, and more.

Our open house for the 2026-2027 school year will be held on June 7th, 8th, and 9th. You can call or text our office at 470-484-6184 to register for a date that works best for you. We are offering great incentives for signing up/registering during the open house. Incentives may not be available after open house. Sunday, June 7th -5 pm-7 pm. Monday, June 8th -6 pm-8 pm. Tuesday, June 9th.-6 pm-8 pm. If you are registering via text, please include your first and last name, the date for the open house session you will attend, how many will be attending with you, and your email address.

We offer multi-child enrollment options, including a sibling discount for families enrolling more than one child. Discount options are as follows: Choose one. 1. A one-time discount of $110.00 on your second month of enrollment. 2. A $22.00 per month savings over the course of 5 months, starting the second month of enrollment.

The assessment helps us get to know your child better-how they learn, what they already know, and what support they may need. This way, we can make sure they start comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

Once you register your child, you will have access to Bright Wheel, and we have our closure dates listed on the calendar starting August 2026-June 2027. We also follow the Gwinnett County Public School calendar, with the exception of some early release dates.

Families complete an online application, provide immunization records, emergency forms, and contacts, and complete a brief developmental assessment so we understand your child's learning needs.

Our enrollment age starts at 33 months or 2 years 9 months. The student must be turning 3 within 3 months of enrolling/acceptance.

At this time, we are only accepting full-time enrollment. Please check back with us, as some families' needs may change in the future.

Yes, there will be family-based projects required.

We officially open for the first day of school on August 5, 2026. The open house is June 7th, 8th, or 9th. Space is limited. Choose a date that works best for you.
